ch-ch-ch-ch-changes

As you can see I've got the builders in.

One builder, actually.  The terrific Lea from Closet Writer has agreed to help me put together a new look for my blog. Isn't she lovely?

We're still working on the colours but the banner is made - thanks to an idea by Tam and to Hub who fiddled about with my photo.

So bear with me over the next day as you might find that things keep changing every time you pop over.  I'll be back later today with Saturday Shorts.

  5. Looking good, Jen! And no sawdust in sight! The colors are very chocolate-y. I like!

  6. Hi Wren
I'm not sure I like the chocolate coloured side bars. That may change :).

  7. Oh. Well. I like Starbursts, too. And Jolly Ranchers. And M&Ms. *heads off to the candy dish*

  8. Wow, looks good! And that Sean Kennedy has EXQUISITE penmanship.

And I have that same Maisy bookmark!

  9. Thanks, Sean. I woke up in a panic at 4am suddenly worried that you might be pissed off that I'd shown your chicken scrawl to the world.

    *phew*

  10. I'm sorry, but that shade of green is not in my candy spectrum.

  11. Like! The header is great - and I love that it was by you, with help from friends (both in the picture and with the picture).

  12. Wren: No the green isn't working for me either :(.

Chris: I just got together things that people had sent me - Tam suggested it as a good idea. I thought it would make it a bit more personal.

  13. Jen, I like it! The three column look is so high-tech, I almost can't believe this is a Blogspot blog (like mine, ha, ha! I need an update, too!) I like all the little unique things that you've worked into your top banner. It's like a celebration of your blog's history. Nice job!

  14. Thanks, Val. I didn't really think of it that way, but you are right it is a bit of a tribute to my blog so far. In the notebook behind are my scribbled notes for one of my first blog posts written in October 08, so it's a bit like that was the start of it all. Then I've got a Christmas card that Tam sent to me which is the most recent thing - not the end though :).

  20. Strolling by and stopped to say "woah". Very nice new look. I'm still refusing the New Year/New look itch. Really. I am.
