Good Intentions

I had such good intentions for this week's blogging, I really did.  In general I've been quite pleased that I was managing about 3-4 posts a week and I'd got all sorts of plans of what I was going to post this week, which included at least 3 reviews. Well I managed one, I suppose. Plus I did have the lovely JL Merrow pop by on Wednesday, so the week hasn't been a total write off.

It's just been one of those weeks I'm afraid where RL has stepped in and made it almost impossible to a) read anything and b) find the hour or so I need to write a review.

So, all my good intentions have not materialised. Oh well, you get this sort of non-post to read, where I whine on about not being able to post. Which if you think about it is almost post-modern.

Anyway, to make it up to you, here's a cute cat picture. The guy's not too bad either ;).

  2. Cute cats, yeah, that will soften things :)

I think that there is enough going on in m/m land to entertain us at other places, heheh.
    Don't you think so?

  3. Every blogger's allowed a quiet week now and again - don't sweat it!

And yes, like Ingrid says, other things have been going on... Would love to get your opinion about that sometime, but maybe over a drink someplace rather than online?!

    I always think so :).

    Hi Ingrid
You mean there has been something going on that's MORE exciting than my blog? Surely not!! I can't think what on Earth you are talking about ;).

  5. Hi Jo
    Thank you my dear :).

Oh yes, definitely over a glass of wine. I've been keeping my head down over this kerfuffle, in general.

  7. Here's hoping you get a chance to read soon! It's been that sort of week for me, too, so I completely understand and sympathize.

  8. I've managed about 3 shorts and 1 longer book this week, which isn't great really. I need to get cracking or I'll get behind!

  9. I hope you get RL kicked back to where it's meant to be in the important scheme of things ;o)

Cute cat though... always a winner

  10. Thanks, Kate :).

The cat looks like my George, although he doesn't have the white flash on his nose.

  11. Hey, good to see, I'm not alone! I read five books this week, which is an all time low for me. I thought my return from US and the jetlag was the reason, but if you are experiencing the same, I'm at a loss:) Well, hopefully next week will be better:)
