I was supposed to review Second Time Lucky this week but I ran out of time. I'm away this weekend so it won't get done then either. Sorry about that. I shall attempt to get it done next week but I'm increasingly finding it hard to fit blogging into my life at the moment so I can't make any promises.
I did review the Excellent Something Like Winter by Jay Bell on Wednesday. Plus on Tuesday there was a very interesting post by Sam Starbuck on historical accuracy in m/m romance. There's still time to win a $10 Riptide Publishing voucher if you leave a comment by Sunday evening.
I have another Riptide guest post on Monday. This time it's the turn of Heidi Belleau and Violetta Vane who will talk about their new book Mark of the Gladiator, so something to look forward to there. I shall also do a review of Beauty in the Breakdown by EL Esch.
And that's it. Short and sweet this week. I'm off to the Peak District to a big 40th do. They've hired a pub for us to celebrate in but hub and I are staying at a B&B so we can slip off when they all get too rowdy. Half the people going are ex-rugby playing lesbians and boy do they know how to party! I expect they will already be drunk by the time we get there :).
On a side note, the village where I'm staying was used as a location for the BBC Pride and Prejudice series, so I will be walking streets which were once graced by Colin Firth *fans face*. At least I have hub, he can be my Darcy substitute!
|or maybe not!|
Have a good weekend everyone!
